Not all short sales are long, drawn out, and awful. I just closed this Seterus short sale and it was a breeze. What helped? The seller’s financial documents were ready on day one so I was able to immediately submit a complete package, we got an excellent offer day two on market (which is not unusual given our current market conditions of low inventory), and we kept the file updated with financials throughout to stay in compliance with Fannie Mae guidelines.
